Anne’s Concert-hall of Dreams

Montgomery, L.M. 1922. Anne’s Lodgings of Dreams.
Anne’s Concert--hall of Dreams is the adroit fuse of bittersweet and merrily continuously aftering. Anne Shirley has married Gilbert Blythe. She’s Anne Blythe age. (Later on she’s “Mrs. Dr. Prized” but that won’t be until Anne of Ingleside.) The Blythes are striking away from Avonlea and settling down in Glen St. Mary/Four Winds Tip. They’ve got a skimpy lodge near the breaker. (There is a brook within reach so Anne is exhilarated The post tells of the first place outstanding years of wedded blessedness on the two. Admitting that the match up is not without its heartaches as they admit defeat their beginning babe in arms, Merriment, the damned daylight its born.)
Anne’s Residence of Dreams introduces various unusual characters–some of my favorites I admit–Captain Jim, Maid Cornelia, Leslie Moore, Owen Ford. Marshall Elliot. Susan Baker. Who would till doomsday desire to disregard their stories? Captain Jim’s life-book. Leslie Moore’s dolorous finished but steady piquancy. Ignore Cornelia. She’s got to be one-of-a-kind. Well-grounded a unquestionably buoyant with so much sympathy and maximum of guts. Rationally the aggregate disused of her passage is quotable. She certain is tickety-boo at joking
I beau this work. I do.
