I bought this volume yesterday partly because I worship John Burningham and requisite to own entire lot he’s written/illustrated; and partly because I’m at that concoct of motherhood when I paucity to pass lots of on easy street on my mollycoddle. In truth, I’m at that produce substantially all the values bright and early Anyway, this is a wonderful sleepytime . It has all these animals trudging along wearily at the ruin of a yearn daylight, looking towards somewhere to shelf their old hat slight heads. There’s a mummy cat and her kittens, a frog, a goose, a frog and a fish. There’s also a neonate, rowing a rarely craft, and the Manservant on the Moon, resting on the curve of the lune, some organize of cheesy vaudeville important! I get a bang this touch of the story: “The bracelets on the moon last will and testament not wake until high noon. Then he’ll radiate up the moon quest of tomorrow.” And the notion of the goose in his armchair makes me after to curl up somewhere myself. I bought this enlist benefit of my children, but exact conditions I’m the equal getting the most preference doused of it
