Heather Marchant graduated in 1985 with a B.A. in Spanish from Berea College in Berea, KY and earned her teaching certificate from UW-Green Bay. Heather and Brian met in Spain and were married in 1986. She taught for several years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. She loves reading and enjoys helping her husband, Brian, write and edit books for children. In addition to being president of their company, Brown-eyed Books, Heather also oversees the production, harvest and sale of flowers and raspberries on their 12 acre farm in Greenleaf, Wisconsin. She and Brian have four children ages 12, 9, 4 and 2 whom she homeschools. Their children are a constant source of inspiration for their writing.
